The Gordian Seed Tool presents a robust solution for the safeguarding of cryptographic seeds while ensuring ease of accessibility. Users can derive and share multi-signature signing and verification keys from these seeds or utilize them for signing Partially Signed Bitcoin Transactions (PSBTs).

The backup procedures employed by the Gordian Seed Tool are particularly noteworthy, featuring options like printed backups and Sharded Secret Key Reconstruction (SSKR). This innovative method allows users to segment their seed into various pieces, which can then be entrusted to reliable parties. In the event of an emergency, these pieces can be sent back for seed recovery purposes. Notably, users have the option to use an entirely offline device, devoid of internet connectivity, to store their seeds. This is complemented by the capability to exchange account information, descriptors, seeds, keys, or PSBTs with online devices that support compatible wallet or signing software through QR code technology.

The seeds generated by the Gordian Seed Tool consist of long strings of truly random numbers essential in cryptography. Serving as the foundational element for creating cryptocurrency keys and addresses, it is imperative that seeds are generated and stored securely.
